Jhanlkar Beats Glasgow is a charity dedicated to promoting mental well-being and social inclusion through the power of music and Dance. We use traditional and contemporary percussion as a tool to engage individuals of all ages and backgrounds—particularly those facing mental health challenges, social isolation, or disadvantages. Through community music & dance workshops, school programs, and public performances, we create safe, inclusive spaces that foster creativity, confidence, and connection. Our work empowers participants, builds community bonds, and encourages positive self-expression, all while celebrating cultural diversity and rhythm as a universal language.

Objectives: Purposes The organisation’s purposes are: The advancement of the arts, heritage and culture through staging public exhibitions, giving presentation and/or performances for the public to raise awareness of the history and traditions of Indian classical music and dance The advancement of Education through the teaching of the art form and style of Indian classical music and dance, raising the artistic standards of the art form and by providing educational programmes to the public. The advancement of Public Participation in Sports through organising indoor and outdoor sports activities for the public to raise awareness of improving physical health and well-being. The advancement of Health raises the values such as fairness, team building, equality, discipline, inclusion, perseverance and respect. thus contributing to the development of soft skills needed for responsible citizenship.
