To provide life enhancing, structured art classes to people living with Dementia, their carers and those who are isolated within the community. The classes are designed and tested to support cognitive function, to aid with social interaction and to create a sense of community.

Beneficiaries: 'Older People'

Objectives: 4 The organisation's purposes are: 4.1 The provision and organisation of art based recreational activities to multigenerational vulnerable/isolated members of the community with the aim to improve their quality of life, engaging/reengaging with their local community. 4.2 To provide an inclusive, professional yet holistic, nurturing environment which promotes equality, diversity, dignity, respect and which encourages vulnerable service users to integrate successfully and contribute towards an active life. 4.3 To continually engage with local communities and multi-agency groups throughout Scotland to identify and reach a core client base who may feel stigmatised due to their individual situations. 4.4 To anticipate long-term growth in the demand for compassionate services as the older population grows. 4. Advancement of the arts and culture within a community setting and to promote public awareness of the activity provided.
