APPENDIX 1 Achlevements and performance Summary of the rnain achievements of The financial period 202&4 has been another successfvl year as far as the charity during the financial period raising funds a￿ concerned. Our two main events of the year were.. the Rackellon, held at Edinburgh Sports Club on Saturrlay 22nd June, which raised over £4000. ThLS was a hugely enjoy8t>le ¢Jay wher8 teams played ' table tennis, squash, padel an¢J tennis in the warm sunshine. The annual 'Ladies Aft&moon' held in Ralston Golf Club on Sunday 3, Novernber. i5 a￿ayS well attended and this year raised over £5000. A very talented group from Rentrew High created an amazirtg WEsenlation. winning them the 'Youth Philanthropic Initiative, prize and £3000 for Lisa's Gift. This, along with very generous donations from Robert50n Acom Ltd.. Lisa's Grandpa and 8 local business enabled the charity to fulfil all the requests received from Renfrewshire Primary and second8ry schools. other fundraiser5 who helped Ihe charity included Jackie Matthews, who hosted a garden party, Newmains, St. Peters and Todholm Primarie5, Castlehe8d High and Lush Retail, Braehead. There were also indiwdual donations from many supporters. The chartty prO￿ded financial support for a large nUM￿r of residential and non-residential trips. both home and abroad, for pupils in Renfrewshire primary and secondary schools, breakfast clubs, play and art therapy sessions for pupils suffeiing from trauma, warm winter school clothing, football boots, dance t-shirts, a transition pmgramme for vulnerable pupils lo help with the move from primary to secondary school, dance t-shirts, a transition prografflmes for vulnerable pupils to help with the move from primary to secondary school, and the provision of prom clothing and ticket5 are just some examples of the myriad ways in which the charity ha5 helped lotal chiKlren. As in the year 2022-23 the number of requests this year has again exceeded 70 and our Aim for next year is to ensure we ￿rna1n in a position to fLtKIl the ever growing appeals for assistance from schools.
