The chanty is a Scottish Charstable Incorporated Organisalion {SClO). It
was registered as a chartty on 171n November, 2014. It has a single tier
structure and as such the Injstees a￿ member5 of the charriy.
Trustee recwitment and appointment
Appointment of 2 trustee would only be required if one of the existing
trustees retired. The appointment would be carried out as per our
constitution regijlations.

The prevention of poverty, advancement of education and Telief of those In

disadvantage will be achieved by liaising with the Headleacher andlor
members of the senior management team within the Renf￿wshJre area
secondary and primary school sectors. They will identify a child or children
who would benefrt from financial assistance in oroerto enable thern to
partlClP8te in cufficular or extra-curricular 8¢Xivtties, the purpose of which
will be to enrich the learning and personal development of the pupil or
pupils.

Achlevements and performance
Summary of the rnain achievements of The financial period 202&4 has been another successfvl year as far as
the charity during the financial period
raising funds a￿ concerned. Our two main events of the year were.. the
Rackellon, held at Edinburgh Sports Club on Saturrlay 22nd June, which
raised over £4000. ThLS was a hugely enjoy8t>le ¢Jay wher8 teams played '
table tennis, squash, padel an¢J tennis in the warm sunshine. The annual
'Ladies Aft&moon' held in Ralston Golf Club on Sunday 3, Novernber. i5
a￿ayS well attended and this year raised over £5000.
A very talented group from Rentrew High created an amazirtg WEsenlation.
winning them the 'Youth Philanthropic Initiative, prize and £3000 for Lisa's
Gift. This, along with very generous donations from Robert50n Acom Ltd..
Lisa's Grandpa and 8 local business enabled the charity to fulfil all the
requests received from Renfrewshire Primary and second8ry schools.
other fundraiser5 who helped Ihe charity included Jackie Matthews, who
hosted a garden party, Newmains, St. Peters and Todholm Primarie5,
Castlehe8d High and Lush Retail, Braehead. There were also indiwdual
donations from many supporters.
The chartty prO￿ded financial support for a large nUM￿r of residential and
non-residential trips. both home and abroad, for pupils in Renfrewshire
primary and secondary schools, breakfast clubs, play and art therapy
sessions for pupils suffeiing from trauma, warm winter school clothing,
football boots, dance t-shirts, a transition pmgramme for vulnerable pupils
lo help with the move from primary to secondary school, dance t-shirts, a
transition prografflmes for vulnerable pupils to help with the move from
primary to secondary school, and the provision of prom clothing and ticket5
are just some examples of the myriad ways in which the charity ha5 helped
lotal chiKlren.
As in the year 2022-23 the number of requests this year has again
exceeded 70 and our Aim for next year is to ensure we ￿rna1n in a position
to fLtKIl the ever growing appeals for assistance from schools.

We have manaoed to fvlfil all requests for funding by schools.

Lisa's GTft does not pay anyone for their work on our behalf. Being a small
charity. all helpers are volunteers. so our only outlays relate to the
organisalion of functions. This year these costs w¢r¢ £910.45 for the
afternoon leas and the prosecco which formed part of our 'Ladies
Afternoon, aoliwlie5. All money raised through fundraising and donations
is used exclusively for the benefrt of school aged chiklren wrthin the
Rentrewshire 8re8.

Youth Philanthropi.. Inilialive, where eath Small oroup within 2nd to 6th year choose a charity of their choice, find out
aboilt il and then presenl their findings lo Ihair peers.The pupils then vole for Iheir favourlte p￿sentatiOn, wrth Ihe
overall winner receiving £3000 from the Wood Foundat￿n, which comes directly to the charity. Thi5 15 a great way of
making the future generation aware of Lisa's Gift.
