Activities

'It carries out activities or services itself'

'the advancement of health','the saving of lives','the relief of those in need by reason of age, ill-health, disability, financial hardship or other disadvantage'

Central to our work is our belief that every human life has equal value and all of our activities are underpinned by a rights-based approach. We believe in supporting public health systems and advocate for effective treatment to be free at the point of delivery and accessible to all pregnant women, babies, and children, whatever their situation. We work in partnership with the Ministries of Health and the UN agencies in the countries in which we work, to ensure that our work best serves the health needs of the population and crucially, so that our projects are sustainable and acceptable to communities.

Beneficiaries: 'Children or young people','People with disabilities or health problems','Other defined groups'

Objectives: 1.1 To relieve those in need by reason of age, ill-health, disability, financial hardship or other disadvantage by supporting public health systems in the countries in which we work and by advocating for effective medical treatment to be free at the point of delivery and accessible to all. 1.2 To advance health by saving and improving the lives of seriously ill pregnant women, children, and babies in areas of extreme poverty by empowering and enabling our in-country partners to strengthen emergency healthcare so that every baby, infant, child, and pregnant woman and girl can receive high quality emergency healthcare without delay.
