Working with other agencies where applicable, to establish, maintain and where possible improve Laide Wood in the areas of access, recreation, conservation, environmental and cultural matters. To encourage community involvement in the management of Laide Wood.

Objectives: (a) For the benefit of the residents of the Gairloch Ward and the wider public, to conserve, regenerate and promote woodlands in the said area. (b) To advance the education of the public and the local community about relevant countryside matters .
