The parent council is set up to provide support, liaison and sometimes challenge for the school. This is done by raising funds and applying for grant funding to able to provide financial support to school projects as required. The council is available as sounding board for the headteacher to use as required.

Objectives: 'The Objects of the council are - To work in partnership with the school to create a welcoming school which is inclusive for all parents and guardians. To promote partnership between the school, its pupils and all parents and guardians.. To develop and engage in activities which support the education and welfare of the pupi Is. To identify and represent the views of parents and guardians on the education provided by the school and other matters affecting the education and welfare of the pupiIs.
