The Grantown Outdoor Bowling Club is a community sports club which offers outdoor bowling from May to September. The Club is enjoyed by over 30 local members and has over 100 visitors and members from nearby Clubs visiting each year. The Club takes part in local league and friendly matches with clubs in the Scottish Highlands and is a member of Bowls Scotland. The Club offers a welcoming and inclusive environment where all individuals can come together to improve their skills, physical and social wellbeing and build long lasting relationships while enjoying the game. Our club has been a vital hub for the local community since 1908, offering a range of programmes and activities aimed at promoting physical activity, social interaction, and personal development for all age groups. The Club aims to introduce the sport to all generations of players in a safe, sustainable, friendly, and fun environment.

Objectives: Purposes 5 The Organisation has been formed with the following Purposes: 5.1 To advance public participation in the sport of outdoor bowling in the Community and surrounding area. 5.2 To provide recreational facilities and activities primarily for the benefit of residents in the Community, with the object of improving the fitness, health and well-being of the persons for whom the facilities and organisational activities are intended.
