To teach members choral music which is performed in public concerts. Regular rehearsals teach vocal technique and the music for the current programme.
Objectives: The Society's objects are: (a) to encourage and develop an understanding and enjoyment of choral music in the local communities through public performances and musical seminars. (b) to develop the musical proficiency of Society members by programmes of musical instruction, rehearsal and performance.
