To restore historic buildings in Scotland by giving these buildings a new purpose and a sustainable future. The charity contributes to both the preservation of Scotland's architectural history and the communities they serve, balancing heritage restoration with economic viability. Knowledge sharing is embedded in all our restoration projects to enhance the appreciation and understanding of important heritage assets.

Objectives: The objects for which the Company is established are to promote and encourage, either on its own or in conjunction with others, the protection and preservation of Scotland's historic, architectural and landscape heritage by any means and in particular by the acquisition of such lands, buildings and monuments of historic or architectural interest as the Directors may select for the purpose of repair and restoration and, sale or lease subject to such .legally valid restrictions as will ensure preservation of such lands, buildings and monuments and to further the study of such heritage and make the information obtained available to the general public.
