We ran very successfully promoting and engaging the community in local archaeology, instigating guided Walks, participation in local archaeological excavations, recording sites, assisting others with Projects and generally providing educational input as required. We are much quieter now, with reduced volunteers but hope to build on this in the future.
Objectives: 1. advancing the education of the public in the archaeology and history of Caithness by all such means as the company may consider necessary or expedient. 2. advancing the heritage and in particular the archaeological heritage of Caithness by all such means as the company may consider necessary or expedient, including the management and development of the archaeological resources of Caithness.
