New Deer Community Association maintains and manages New Deer Public Hall and the Dingwall Fordyce Community Park. It aims to foster a positive community spirit by promoting social, leisure and sporting activities and events, and also aims to enhance local knowledge and experience. The Association does this by liaising with local authorities, voluntary groups and organisations and consulting with residents of the village and the surrounding area. Any profit accruing from NDCA activities is reinvested into improvements to the facilities in the Public Hall and the Community Park, or may be used for some other purpose deemed by the Members and Management Committee to be of benefit to people living in and around New Deer. The Association is wholly inclusive - without distinction of sex, age, physical or mental ability, sexuality, marital status, race, nationality. religion, political opinion, or any other comparable factor.

Objectives: (a) To promote the wellbeing of the inhabitants of New Deer and Parish by associating the local authorities, voluntary organisations and residents in a common effort to promote social activities, to foster a community spirit, to advance education and to achieve other aims as may be determined by the Association. To maintain and manage the New Deer Village Hall and Pleasure Park for activities promoted by the Association and its constituent members in merance of the above objects, and to carry out any extension of the premises or facilities provided which may at any time seem necessary or desirable. To reinvest any profits accruing from the activities of the Association into improvements to the facilities offered in the Public Hall and the Pleasure Park, or to some other purpose deemed by the Committee to be clearly of direct benefit to the inhabitants ofNew Deer. The Association shall be without distinction of sex, age, physical visual or mental ability, sexuality, marital status, race, nationality, religion, political opinion, or any other comparable factor.
