NDCA owns, manages and maintains a variety of amenities withing the village, which are of great importance and benefit to the community. Key assets include New Deer Public Hall, the Dingwall Fordyce Community Park, and the Willie Littlejohn land has unlocked potential. NDCA aims to promote the well-being of people living in and around the village by organising community events and fundraisers, and its members co-ordinate closely with other local groups and organisations.
Objectives: The organisation's purposes are: (a) To provide, or assist in providing, recreational facilities and/or organise recreational activities which will be available to members of the community and the general public with the object of improving the conditions of life in the community of the parish of New. (b) To provide, or assist in providing, facilities and / or activities which advance the health of the community of the Parish of New Deer. (c) To provide, or assist in providing, facilities and / or activities which advance public participation in sport for the community of the Parish of New Deer. (d) To advance community development in the Parish of New Deer. (e) To advance education in the community of the Parish of New Deer and environs about environment, culture, heritage, history and / or other topics.
