The charity has responsibility for the Scottish Horse regiment archive and promotes the history of Dunkeld and Birnam through displays and activities within the archive and museum. It holds weekly mid week memories club for local people and has a young archaeology club. We run talks on monthly basis within our historical society.

Objectives: For the advancement of education or general public, without distinction of sex or of political, religious or other opinions, by provision of the museum comprimising the Existing Collection, together time be aquired in accordance with the provisions of this deed in respect of which there will be a strong presumption against the subsequint disposal of any specimen.
