The charity is attached the royal air force and provides life skills to young air cadets who perhaps would like a future career in the air force or just want to gain more confidence and skills that will help them in the future. the charity provides skills like first aid, team building, flying, gliding, communication and IT skills. It gives young people the chance to meet new people and build life long friendships while learning essential skills. This is achieved through volunteers who may or may not have military experience teaching cadets multiple skills in both theory and practical activities through training provided by the air training core. these volunteers teach steam material to cadets either in groups or one to one training.

Objectives: The purpose of the Squadron Association (‘the Association’) is to fully support the squadron commander to further the objects of the Air Training Corps (‘the ATC’) as contained in the Schedule to the Royal Warrant as amended from time to time but in particular to support activities which foster the spirit of adventure amongst the squadron’s cadets and develop their qualities of leadership and good citizenship.
