Objectives: The objects of the group are, by charitable means only:- (a) to set up a system of nature reserves throughout Scotland, for the purpose of protecting Scottish wildlife and to encourage a greater interest from the public in this wildlife. (b) to plant indigenous trees on these reserves and so restore the land to some semblance of what it was in previous times. (c) to set up small education centres on these reserves so that members can take parties for study and recreation. (d) to offer facilities to other groups with similar interests. (e) to produce material for distribution to the public showing our work and the concern we have for the Scottish countryside. (f) to run educational trips for members and non-members to bring them into closer contact with the countryside. (g) to run film shows and other events that will inform the public of our work and the conservation movement in general.
