Objectives: The aims of the organisation shall be to promote the benefit of local people who are in need of practical and/or emotional support due to old age, infirmity, isolation, or other difficult financial or social circumstances without distinction with regard to race, religion, colour, class, sex or sexual orientation, by associating the local statutory authorities, voluntary organisations and inhabitants in a common effort to relieve poverty, sickness and distress, advance education and provide facilities in the interests of social welfare, for recreation and other leisure time occupation so that the conditions of life of the aforementioned local people may be improved and in furtherance thereof to promote the provision of a range of appropriate services.
