Strathy Village Hall Association provides a safe place for community groups to meet. It offers a choice of facilities - meeting rooms, a sports hall, a fully dressed stage, a full P/A system, a fully fitted kitchen, a function bar, full toilet facilities, a back stage room and a function suite. We are fully furnished with chairs and tables and all equipment is of high standard. The hall is open for all users, community groups charities and larger businesses. Our Trustees work to ensure the running of the hall is successful and we are currently undertaking a refurbishment project. We have a cleaner and ensure the hall is always fit for use. We have a full fire alarm system which is regularly maintained and a Fist Aid area for all hall users. We provide free wifi for all hall users. The facilities are used regularly by a variety of different groups from our community as well as by organisations who need a space to display their works or meet with partners.

Objectives: The objects of the association shall be:- a) To promote the welfare of the community resident in the district and townships of Aultiphurst, Aultivallan, Baligill, Brawl, Strathy East, Strathy West, and Strathy Point. (hereinafter called “the neighbourhood”) without distinction of sex, or of political views, or of religious or other opinions by associating the local community groups, voluntary organisations, and residence in a common effore to further health, to advance education, to provide a meeting place and facilities for physical and mental training, social, moral and intellectual development, and to foster a community spirit for the achievement of these and other such objects as may be deemed by law.
