The aim of the charity is to provide classical music events in Dumfries. We do this by engaging performers to play in Dumfries, and we also aim to provide one or two workshops to local schools, where performers offer an education session to school attendees. We hold six or seven concerts per year.

Objectives: 2. OBJECTS: to advance the education of the public in, and to stimulate the performance and knowledge of, live music. The organisation does this by: • promoting and arranging a regular series of concerts each year. • engaging high quality musicians, to bring the best of Scottish, UK and international performers to Dumfries. • including, and occasionally commissioning, new and contemporary music. • seeking to develop new audiences. and • encouraging young performers from the Dumfries and Galloway region, for example through its biennial Young Musicians concert.
