Activities
The Council shall apply the income of the charity for the benefit of persons living in and around the town of Portstewart in such a manner as maybe charitable, and in particular, but not so as limit the generality of the foregoing;- To provide facilities for recreation and leisure time occupation with the object of enhancing the conditions of life of said persons. To promote good community relations in the Portstewart area For the advancement of the education of the public and in particular but not so as to limit the generality of the foregoing:- Promoting the mental, moral and physical development and improvement of young people through the provision of recreational facilities. the advancement of the education of the public by promoting artistic activities including art exhibitions, performance of drama, music, opera and ballet, film shows and poetry readings.
