Activities
For over 150 years Catholic Care has been providing flexible solutions to social challenges across Yorkshire. We deliver a wide range of services including residential and supporting living for adults with learning disabilities and mental health issues, a residential care home for children, social work and children's mental health services, and a variety of community services.
Objects: 3. (a) The objects of the Charity are for the public benefit:(i) to promote, in the Roman Catholic Diocese of Leeds and adjoining Dioceses, the relief of poverty and/or the relief of those in need because of youth, age, ill-health, disability, financial hardship, difficult family circumstances and/or other disadvantage, including by (but not limited to): (a) providing post-adoption support to people who have been adopted and/or their birth relatives and/or adoptive families;(b) providing housing and/or any associated amenities for persons in necessitous circumstances upon terms appropriate to their means;(c) providing older people, children and/or persons with a disability and/or mental health problems in need thereof housing and any/or associated amenities specially designed and/or adapted to meet the disabilities and requirements of such persons;(ii) to promote and organise co-operation among Roman Catholics and others in the achievement of the above objects.
