RE-SOLV WAS ESTABLISHED IN 1984 AND IS A NATIONAL CHARITY SOLELY CONCERNED WITH THE PREVENTION OF SOLVENT AND VOLATILE SUBSTANCE ABUSE THROUGH EDUCATION.

Objects: The Objects For Which The Society Is Established Are: A) To Alleviate The Suffering And Problems Arising From Solvent And Volatile Substance Abuse And The Abuse Of Other Legal Substances In Any Manner That May Be Thought Fit; B) To Advance The Education Of The Public Regarding The Dangers Of Such Solvent And Volatile Substance Abuse And Abuse Of Other Legal Substances; C) To Promote And Support Research Into The Problems Arising From Solvent And Volatile Substance Abuse And Other Legal Substances And To Provide Dissemination And Publication Of The Useful Results Thereof For The Benefit Of The Public. D) To Found, Aid, Maintain And Endow Scholarships Or Bursaries For The Support Of Research Students Studying The Principles Involved In Or Connected With The Safe Use And The Prevention Of The Abuse Of Solvents, Volatile Substances And Other Legal Substances Whether In The Laboratories Of The Society Or Elsewhere
