To provide such special benefits of any kind not normally provided by the local education authority for Marling School, Stroud High School and Archway School.To promote the education of persons under the age of 25 who are resident in the area of benefit and are in need of financial assistance.
Objects: 1. To Provide Such Special Benefits Of Any Kind Not Normally Provided By The Local Education Authority For Marling Secondary School, Stroud Girls' High School And Archway County Secondary School. 2. A) In Promotion Of The Education (Including Social And Physical Training) Of Persons Under The Age Of 25 Years Who Are Resident In The Area Of Benefit And Are In Need Of Financial Assistance. B) In Providing Financial Assistance To Any Charitable Organistation In The Area Of Benefit The Objects Of Which Include The Advancement Of The Education Of, Or The Improvement Of The Conditions Of Life For Such Persons By Devloping Their Physical, Mental And Moral Capacities Through Their Leisure-Time Activities. (For Further Details See The Scheme). Area Of Benefit Shall Mean The Area Of The Following Parishes Comprising The Stroud Rural District That Is To Say, Bisley-With-Lypiatt, Chalford, Cranham, Horsley, King's Stanley, Leonard Stanley, Minchinhampton, Miserden, Painswick, Pitchcombe, Randwick, Rodborough, Stonehouse, Thrupp, Whiteshill And Woodchester And The Areas Of The Stroud And Nailsworth Urban Districts.
