Activities

The charity is in place to run and maintain the Lomas Hall which is a village hall left in trust to the people of Stannington in 1952 by Miss Flora Lomas. The hall is used by fourteen local groups on a regular basis by people of all ages ranging from a mother and toddler group to the women's fellowship. It also available for occasional use events.

Objects: To Be Used As A Non-Sectarian And Non-Political Place Of Recreation And Social Intercourse For The Advantage And Benefit Of The Inhabitans Of The Ward Of Stannington Aforesaid Either Gratuitously Or In Consideration Of Any Money Payment Or On Such Terms As The Trustees May Think Fit.
