Activities
We support research with the aim of finding treatments and effective cures and we drive improvements in health care. We provide information and advice, campaign to raise awareness, provide care and support. Further, we enable people to lead as full and rich a life as possible through the provision of advocacy support and equipment grants as well as campaigns to remove barriers to independence.
Objects: To Promote Research Into Muscular Dystrophy And Allied Neuromuscular Conditions; To Promote The Provision Of Care And Treatment And Other Relief To Those Affected By Muscular Dystrophy And Allied Neuromuscular Conditions; To Assist Those Who Care For Persons Affected By Muscular Dystrophy And Allied Neuromuscular Conditions; To Provide Education And Training To Persons Affected By Muscular Dystrophy And Allied Neuro Muscular Conditions; To Raise The Awareness Of The Public On Any Matters Relating To The Charity's Objects.
