Objects: ALMSHOUSES FOR POOR PERSONS NOT LESS THAN 60 YEARS OF AGE WHO HAVE RESIDED IN THE AREA OF THE BOROUGH OF ABINGDON AND SUCH PARTS OF THE AREAS OF THE ANCIENT PARISHES OF ST. HELEN, ABINDGDON AND ST. NICHOLAS, ABINGDON AS ARE NOT SITUATED IN THE SAID BOROUGH FOR NOT LESS THAN 5 YEARS NEXT PRECEDING TIME OF APPOINTMENT. INCOME TO BE APPLIED FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE ALMSPEOPLE AND SUBJECT THERETO THE GOVERNORS MAY APPLY A YEARLY SUM OF NOT MORE THAN ú1, 800 OR SUCH SUM AS THE COMMISSIONERS APPROVE FROM TIME TO TIME TOWARDS THE COST OF MAINTAINING THE ALBERT PARK PUBLIC RECREATION GROUND.
