The Charity's work in supporting prison leavers not only benefits the individuals involved bLtt also contributes to reducing reoffending rates. alleviating pressure on the justice system. and f05terinE safer communities. ACHIEVEMENTS AND PERFORMANC The past year has been one of significant growth for the Foundation. Key achievements include: Engagement and Employment: Support for 401 new participants this year. with 372 completing per50nalised action plans. Of these. 75 participants have secured employment. bringing the totsl nLtmber of prison leavers placed in Work since our inception to 321. Kangaroo Programme: 199 individuals particlpated in the Kangaroo Programme this year. which focuses on building the soft skills nece553ry for successful employment. Since its launch, 450 participants have benefited from this programme. Sustained Employment= 81% of participants who secured employment have maintained their lobs for at least six months. In total. 42% of participants have sustained employment for nine months or more. Social Value.. Independent analy515 revealed that the Foundatlon's activities generated £3,014.524 in social value this year, equating to £8.64 of value for every pound Invested. FINANCIAL REVIEW The financial health of the Foundatlon remalns stable, supported by a diverse range of Income streams. including donations, grants and revenue generated by NGB CLEAN. In the upcoming year. the focus wlll be on ensuring the long-term financial sustainability through growth in the social enterprise and expanding partnerships with corporate and government entities. Financial Positlon The income for the year was £332,983 and the expendlture £372.040. Thls left a deficit of £39.057. £51,773.12 of this was attributable to pre-incorporation and set up expenses of the Foundation. Page 3

PLANS FOR FUTURE PERIODS Looking ahead, the No GoinB Back Foundation will continue its fotus on: Expanding employment opportunities for prison leavers, particularly in Erowing facilities management and recycling Sectors. Strengthening partnerships with employers. volunteer mentors, and corporate sponsors to scale our support services. GOVERNANCE AND MANAGEMENT The No GoSng Back Foundation is governed by a Board of Trustees, which includes professionals from diverse sectors as well as a Peer Ambassador who has experienced the programme flrst-hand. The Charity has a robust governance framework in place, adhering to the principles Set out in the Charlty Governance Code. Regular b03rd meetings are held to oversee strateglc development and ensure that all Charitable activities comply with the aims and objectives outlined in the governlng document. In 2024, the Foundation has focused on strengthening its governance, leveraging the experience of both No Going Back Foundation and NGB CLEAN to streamllne processes and create a cohesive support strurture for participants. This ha5 allowed the charity to enh3nce its impact while upholding its Commitment to sustainability and reducing reoffendin8. The Trustees are responsible for keeping proper accounting records that disclose with reasonable ac¢ura¢y at any time the financial position of the charity and to enable them to ensure that the financial statements comply with the Companies Act 2006. The Trustee5 are also responsible for safeguardlng the assets of the charity and hence taking reasonable steps for the prevention and detection of fraud and other iiregularities.
