The Trustees are pleased to present the annual report of the No Golng Back Foundatlon. a
registered charlty that achieved its Independent tharitable status In AuBust 2023 hfter a successful
three year incubatlon wlth the Bounce Back Charity. In this first year operatln8 Independently. the
Foundation has been focused on its mission to reduce reoffending rates by provlding holistic
support to prison leavers, enabllng thelr relntegration Into soclety and securlng meaningful
employment. The Foundation collaborates closely wlth No Going 6ack Cleanlng and Support
SeNices CIC INGB CLEANI, a social enterprise,to align training and employment opportunities.

long-term stability.
Reducing Reoffending- the overarching aim is to reduce the likelihood of reoffendlng by offering employment
opportunities and sustained support during the crStical post.release perlod and ongoSng.
Public Benefit
In accordance with the Charitles Act 2011. the Trustees conflrm that they have Complied with their duty to
have regard to the public benefit guidance publishetj by the Charity Commission. The Charity's work in
supporting prison leavers not only benefits the individuals involved bLtt also contributes to reducing
reoffending rates. alleviating pressure on the justice system. and f05terinE safer communities.
ACHIEVEMENTS AND PERFORMANC
The past year has been one of significant growth for the Foundation. Key achievements include:
Engagement and Employment: Support for 401 new participants this year. with 372 completing per50nalised
action plans. Of these. 75 participants have secured employment. bringing the totsl nLtmber of prison leavers
placed in Work since our inception to 321.
Kangaroo Programme: 199 individuals particlpated in the Kangaroo Programme this year. which focuses on
building the soft skills nece553ry for successful employment. Since its launch, 450 participants have benefited
from this programme.
Sustained Employment= 81% of participants who secured employment have maintained their lobs for at least
six months. In total. 42% of participants have sustained employment for nine months or more.
Social Value.. Independent analy515 revealed that the Foundatlon's activities generated £3,014.524 in social
value this year, equating to £8.64 of value for every pound Invested.
FINANCIAL REVIEW
The financial health of the Foundatlon remalns stable, supported by a diverse range of Income streams.
including donations, grants and revenue generated by NGB CLEAN. In the upcoming year. the focus wlll be on
ensuring the long-term financial sustainability through growth in the social enterprise and expanding
partnerships with corporate and government entities.
Financial Positlon
The income for the year was £332,983 and the expendlture £372.040. Thls left a deficit of £39.057.
£51,773.12 of this was attributable to pre-incorporation and set up expenses of the Foundation.

It is the policy of the Tru5tee5 to contlnue to bulld the general reserve to ensure sufficSent operating costs are
freely available. The charlty is carefully managing budgets and cashflow Sn order to enable operations to
continue without disruption. The Trustees also intend to achleve future surpluses In NGB CLEAN in order to
build Its reserves.
PLANS FOR FUTURE PERIODS
Looking ahead, the No GoinB Back Foundation will continue its fotus on: Expanding employment
opportunities for prison leavers, particularly in Erowing facilities management and recycling Sectors.
Strengthening partnerships with employers. volunteer mentors, and corporate sponsors to scale our support
services. Building on our sustainabllity initiatives, includSng training on green jobs and carbon-neutrality In
partnership with NG8 CLEAN.
SThUCTURE. GOVERNANCE AND MANAGEMENT
The No GoSng Back Foundation is governed by a Board of Trustees, which includes professionals from diverse
sectors as well as a Peer Ambassador who has experienced the programme flrst-hand. The Charity has a
robust governance framework in place, adhering to the principles Set out in the Charlty Governance Code.
Regular b03rd meetings are held to oversee strateglc development and ensure that all Charitable activities
comply with the aims and objectives outlined in the governlng document.
In 2024, the Foundation has focused on strengthening its governance, leveraging the experience of both No
Going Back Foundation and NGB CLEAN to streamllne processes and create a cohesive support strurture for
participants. This ha5 allowed the charity to enh3nce its impact while upholding its Commitment to
sustainability and reducing reoffendin8.
The Trustees are responsible for keeping proper accounting records that disclose with reasonable ac¢ura¢y at
any time the financial position of the charity and to enable them to ensure that the financial statements
comply with the Companies Act 2006. The Trustee5 are also responsible for safeguardlng the assets of the
charity and hence taking reasonable steps for the prevention and detection of fraud and other iiregularities.
The above report has been prepared Sn accordance with the provisions applicable to companles subject to
the small companie5 regime as set out in Part IS of the Companies Act 2006 and in accordance with the
Charities SORP IFRS 1021.

I report to the charity trustees on my examin8tlon of the financlal statements of No Golng Back Foundatlon
for the period ended 31 Au8USt 2024.
Responslbllltles and basls of report
As the charity's trustees of the company land also its directors for the purposes of company lawl you are
responsible for the preparation of the finantial statements in accordance with the requirements of the
Companies Act 20061'the 2006 Act.
Having satisfied myself that the financlal statements of the Charlty are not requlred to be audited under Part
16 of the 2006 Art and are eligible for independent examination, I report in respect of my ex3mination of
your charity's financial statements as carried out under section 145 of the Charities Art 20111'the 2011 Act'l.
In carrying out my examination I have followed the DSrections gSven by the Charity Commission under section
145151 Ibl of the 2011 Act.
Independent examiner's ststement
As the charity's gro55 income exceeded £2SO.000 your examiner must be a member of a body listed in
section 145 of the 2011 Act. I confirm that l am qualified to undertake the examination because l am a
member of Chartered Instltute of Management Accountants, which is one of the listed bodies.
I have completed my examlnatlon. I can confirm that no material matters have come to my attention in
connection with the examination Biving me cause to believe:
• accounting records were not kept in accordance with section 386 of the 2006 Act: or
• the financial statements do not accord with those records- or
• the financlal statements do not comply with the accounting reqU1￿ments under section 396 of the 2006
Act otherth3n any requirement that the finan¢lal statements Blve a 'true and fair, view which is not a
matter considered as part of an Independent examination,. or
the financial statements have not been prepared in accordance with the method5 and principles of the
Statement of Recommended Prartice for accounting and reportlng by charities applicable to charities
preparing their accounts in accordance with the Financial Reporting Standard applicable in the UK and
Republic of Ireland IFRS 1021.

In the Statement of Cash Flows, cash and cash equivalents are shown net of bank overdrafts that are
repayable on demand and form an Integral part of the company's cash management.
Trade and other Creditors
Short term creditors are measured at the transartSon price. Other creditors and provisions are recognSsed
where the charity has a present obligation resultin8 from a past event that wlll probably result in the
transfer of funds to a third party and the amount due to settle the obligation can be measured or
estimated reliably. Creditors and provision5 are normally recognlsed at theSr settlement amount after
allowing for any trade dSscounts due.
Pension costs
The charity operates a defined contributlon plan for its employees. A defined contribution plan is a
pension plan under which the company pays fixed contrlbutions into a separate entity. Once the
contributions have been paid the company has no further payments obllgatlons. The contrlbutlon5 are
recognlsed as expenses when they fall due. Amounts not paid are shown in accruals in the balance sheet.
The assets of the plan are held separately from the company In independently admlnlstered funds.
