Activities

Marfan Trust raises funds to support medical research so that more is know about Marfan syndrome and its management. The results of our internationally recognised research enables doctors and surgeons to provide better treatment for patients in the short and long term. Our helpline and website www.marfantrust.org provide information. An annual supporter information day is held in October.

Objects: The Objects Of The CIO Are: To Advance Education Regarding, And Promote Research Into The Nature Of, Marfan Syndrome And Related Connective Tissue Disorders, Methods Of Treatment And To Disseminate The Useful Results Of Such Research For The Benefit Of The Public; And The Preservation And Protection Of The Health Of Persons With Marfan Syndrome And Related Connective Tissue Disorders And The Relief Of Need Of Persons With Marfan Syndrome And Related Connective Tissue Disorders And Their Families By Providing Advice And Support.
