Due to the inability to setup a UK bank the
CIO could not advance any of its activities.
The matter was referred to the financial
ombudsman which only ruled in February
2024 that process has been followed and
despite the delays 2 years to setup the
bank account is acceptable from financial
regulatory perspective. In consultation with
the trustees the CIO opened a Wise
business account in November 2023 to not
further delay the work of the organisation.
Due to this no activities were performed in
this financial year.
