Activities
Our aim is to raise awareness and educate the public about the life and works of Thomas Brassey - the World's most prolific builder of railways in the 19th Century, but still relatively unknown. We do this by giving talks and lectures, distributing literature, attending public exhibitions, maintaining a publicly available web-site, and erecting information panels and plaques at key locations.
Objects: To Advance The Education Of The Public In The Historic Significance Of The Life And Works Of Thomas Brassey In Particular But Not Exclusively By Providing And Assisting In The Provision Of Educational Materials, Activities And Events Open To The General Public On The Topic Of Thomas Brassey And The Field Of Railway Engineering More Generally.
