The Daniel Phelan Trust was set up in memory of Daniel Phelan. Specifically to promote good journalistic practice and to create educational pathways to encourage young people in South London to consider a career in journalism.We are currently engaged in promoting a writing competition for local schools and also designing an internship programme.
Objects: The Objects Of The CIO Are, For The Public Benefit, To Advance Such Charitable Purposes (According To The Law Of England And Wales) As The Trustees In Their Absolute Discretion See Fit From Time To Time, In Particular But Not Exclusively The Advancement Of Education For The Benefit Of Young Journalists.
