Lambeth Links exists for the LGBT community of Lambeth as a Forum for members of the Community in times of need and times of celebration; to bring those within it closer together and increase our knowledge and understanding of each other; and to enable the creation and strengthening of links between us to further reinforce the Community and with a united voice, highlight the issues that affect it
Objects: The Promotion Of Equality And Diversity For The Public Benefit In The London Borough Of Lambeth By:(a)the Elimination Of Discrimination On The Grounds Of Gender Identity, Gender Expression And Sexual Orientation; (b)raising Awareness In Equality And Diversity And The Needs Of Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer, Intersex, Asexual And Other Marginalised Sexual Minorities And Non-Binary Gender Persons (LGBTQIA+) And The Issues Affecting Their Lives And Their Communities; (c)promoting Activities To Foster Understanding Between People From Diverse Backgrounds And In Particular Those From LGBTQIA+ Background; And (d)cultivating A Sentiment In Favour Of Equality And Diversity In Particular Through Celebrating The Diversity Of The LGBTQIA+ Community.
