Doncaster In Union has been involved in the provision of facilities, activities and meals through the Half term Activity Fund (HAF) provided by the local authority; facilities to support the local community as part of the Sporting Memories initiative and support to a few local schools and colleges through coaching and equipment focused on teamwork and skills development.

Objects: The Objects Of The CIO Are For The Benefit Of The Public Generally And, In Particular, The Inhabitants Of Yorkshire And Its Surrounding Areas:-3.1 To Promote Community Participation In Healthy Recreation By Providing Facilities For The Playing Of Rugby Football And Other Sports Capable Of Improving Health ("Facilities" In This Clause 3 Means Land, Buildings, Equipment And Organised Sporting Activities);and3.2 To Provide And Assist In Providing Facilities For Community Welfare, Sport, Recreation Or Other Leisure Time Occupation For Such Persons Who Have Need Of Such Facilities By Reason Of Their Youth, Age, Infirmity Or Disablement, Poverty Or Social Or Economic Circumstances Or For The General Public In The Interests Of Social Welfare And With The Object Of Improving Their Conditions Of Life; And3.3 To Advance The Education Of Children And Young People Through Such Means As The Charity Trustees Think Fit In Accordance With The Law Of The Charity
