The goal of the CIO is to help everyone have a joyful and fulfilling relationship with God by teaching and guiding people in Christian prayer. The work of the CIO will include introducing individuals to the study of different types of prayer, for example, Ignatian spirituality, Benedictine spirituality for everyday life, and prayer used by Anglican nuns and monks.

Objects: The Object Of The CIO Is:for The Public Benefit, To Advance And Enlighten Others About The Christian Faith By Encouraging People To Explore Prayer And Spirituality In Their Lives, To Deepen Their Relationship With God, But Not Limited To:(a) The Development And Promotion Of Prayer Resources;(b) Educational/ Training Materials;(c) Courses;(d) The Hosting And/or Facilitating Prayer Meetings; (e) The Hosting And/or Facilitation Of Retreats; And(f) The Teaching Of Ancient Practices Of The Religious Life Of Anglican And Other Christian Denominations In The UK And Worldwide.
