A Safe House (Refuge)

them. Regarding the GWC youth programme, and
according to the Children’s Act 1989 (S17) it is our
general duty to safeguard and promote the welfare
of children within their area of need. In line with its
objectives, GWC has identified the need to acquire a
Safe House where a child who is unsafe and is
facing difficulties could seek refuge. Our Global
Word future plans involve spiritual care, growing the
young people into leadership roles so that they can
stand on their own. In this way, they can effectively
plan their activities and make them more
meaningful and suitable to engage in.
