Activities
The charity (also known as Caribbean Court) provides services that enhance the health and wellbeing of those aged over 50, with particular emphasis on the African/Caribbean heritage community. The charity also promotes understanding of people from diverse backgrounds and different ages by organising cultural events. Our beneficiaries reside within the City of Leicester and surrounding districts.
Objects: (A) To Benefit The Residents Of The City Of Leicester And Surrounding Districts By Providing Facilities And Services For Recreation, Education And Leisure-Time Occupation In The Interests Of Social Welfare And With The Objective Of Improving The Conditions Of Life Of These Residents. These Facilities And Services Will Be Provided Without Distinction Of Sex, Sexual Orientation, Race Or Of Political, Religious Or Other Opinions.(b) To Relieve Poverty And Poor Health Amongst People Resident In The City Of Leicester And Surrounding Districts By Providing Facilities And Services Calculated To Relieve The Needs Of Such Persons.(c) The Promotion Of Equality And Diversity For The Public Benefit By Promoting Activities To Foster Understanding Between People From Diverse Backgrounds Within The City Of Leicester And Surrounding Districts.
