Uxbridge United Welfare Trust is a grant giving and almshouse charity based in West London. We award grants to individual residents, smaller charities and community groups in and around Uxbridge. We also have an almshouse building in the centre of uxbridge which houses qualifying senior citizens.
Objects: The Charity's Objects ('objects') Are Specifically Restricted To The Following:(1) The Provision Of Accommodation For Poor Persons Who Are Inhabitants Of The Area Of Benefit And In Exceptional Cases For Poor Persons Who Are Inhabitants Of The Area Immediately Outside The Area Of Benefit;(2) The Relief Either Generally Or Individually Of Persons Resident In The Area Of Benefit Who Are In Conditions Of Need, Hardship Or Distress And In Exceptional Cases For Persons Who Are Resident Immediately Outside The Area Of Benefit; (3) The Promotion Of The Education (including Social And Physical Training) Of Persons Who Are Or At Least One Of Whose Parents Are Resident In The Area Of Benefit And Who Are In Need Of Financial Assistance With A Preference For Persons Under The Age Of 25 Years;
