Objectives and Activities

Summary of the Para 1.17 The prevention or relief of
purposes of the charity poverty on the Isle of Wight by

prevent or relieve poverty

children. As well as aiding the
difficult transition of having a
new family and providing an
improved living environment,
these measures will reduce the
financial burden on families,

well-being, lower anxiety about
caring for their child, an
increased ability to focus on
other aspects of home life and
making positive choices for the
whole family. Providing safe and
clean equipment alongside
warm,suitable clothing will also
contribute to the health and
safety of the baby.
Summary of the main Para 1.17 and BabyBank Network Isle of Wight
activities in relation to 1.19 redistributes high quality baby items
those purposes for the like clothes, slings, cots, high chairs,
public benefit, in and cloth nappies that have been
used and loved by parents, but are
particular, the activities,

cannot afford to buy these items

month we hold a donation drop off
and allow referrals to come in via
email as and when. On receipt of a
referral we match items or source
accordingly. Once completed a
referral we arrange collection by the
professional to pass on to the family.
We completed a High Sheriff
application to support our cause and
have worked regularly at our unit
