Activities
Feeding Isle of Wight collects baby products and passes them on to families in need. Our service is provided for free and all donations go directly to the families we support.We also collect and receive excess food from supermarkets and other food businesses and redistribute it to organisations and individuals on the Isle of Wight to help alleviate food poverty.
Objects: 3 OBJECTS3.1 The objects of the CIO are;The prevention and relief of poverty on the Isle of Wight and the surrounding areas for the public benefit in particular by (a) Co-ordinating and developing services such as the distribution of food to those in need;(b) Advancing the education of the public raising awareness of the issue and extent of food poverty on the Isle of Wight and surrounding areas;(c) Supporting other organisations working to prevent or relieve poverty on the Isle of Wight and surrounding areas.
