APWGG's core activity is to maintain for public use the Georgian Walled Garden left to the people of Coventry by a public benefactor. In addition, and to raise funds, the charity runs community events which combine educational activities, entertainment and opportunities for local craftspeople to demonstrate/sell their products. The produce grown by APWGG and sold to raise funds is chemical free.

To Provide Facilities For Recreation And Other Leisure Time Occupation In The Interests Of Social Welfare With The Object Of Improving The Conditions Of Life Of The Public In Particular But Not Exclusively By The Preservation And Maintenance Of Allesley Park Walled Garden In Coventry.2. To Advance The Education Of The Public In Horticulture, Gardening Skills, The Environment And Local History And Heritage.
