Objects: The Objects Of The CIO Are, For The Public Benefit:(1) To Preserve And Protect Health And Relieve Sickness Among Disadvantaged People In Ghana And In The United Kingdom, Particularly People Affected By, Or At Risk Of, Kidney Disease, Hypertension, Diabetes And Related Non-Communicable Diseases, By:(a) Providing Community Health Education And Information About Prevention, Risk Factors, Early Signs, Management And When To Seek Medical Advice;(b) Providing Basic Community Health Screening And Monitoring, Including Blood Pressure Checks And Kidney Health Awareness, And Signposting People To Appropriate Qualified Health Services; And(c) Supporting The Training Of Volunteers And Community Health Workers In Basic Health Awareness, Safe Community Screening Support, Safeguarding, Record Keeping And Referral Signposting.(2) To Advance Education For The Public Benefit Among Disadvantaged Children And Young People In Ghana And Elsewhere In Africa, By Providingeducational Materials, Learning Resources And Support To Improve Access To Education.
