Activities

We are a local organisation mainly operating at TDShipley Football Ground in West Sussex. Our activities are mainly aimed at older people in our community. We run a walking football club, a petanque club, Shipley Men's Shed, a health walks group and cycling group. Our Green Project is working to improve the site's environment. We aim to help create a happy, healthy and involved local community.

Objects: 1.1 The Objects Of The CIO Are, For The Public Benefit:1.1.1 To Promote Community Participation In Healthy Recreation Particularly But Not Exclusively By The Provision Of Facilities For Playing Football;1.1.2 To Provide Or Assist In The Provision Of Facilities In The Interests Of Social Welfare For Recreation Or Other Leisure Time Occupation Of Individuals Who Have Need Of Such Facilities By Reason Of Their Youth, Age, Infirmity Or Disability, Financial Hardship Or Social Circumstances Or For The Public At Large With The Object Of Improving Their Conditions Of Life; And1.1.3 To Promote Such Other Charitable Purposes According To The Law Of England And Wales As The Trustees In Their Absolute Discretion From Time To Time Determine.
