General Information Sound World is a charitable incorporated organisation registered with the Charity Commission, registered charity number 1178026. Basis of Preparation of Financial Statements The financial statements have been prepared in accordance with the Charities SORP IFRS 1021 "Accounting and Reporting by Charities.. Statement of Recommended Practice applicable to charities preparing their accounts in accordance with the Financial Reporting Standard applicable in the UK and Republic of Ireland IFRS 1021 (effective I January 20191. Financial Reporting Standard 102 "The Financial Reporting Stsndard applicable in the UK and Republic of Ireland 2nd the Charities Act 2011. The charity is a Public Benefit Entity as defined by FRS 102. 2.2. Fund Accounting Unrestrlcted funds can be used In accordance wlth the charitable objectives at the dlscretlon of the trustees. Expenditure is accounted for on an accrua15 basis and ha5 been classified under headings that aggregate all cost related to the category.
