Working together as trustees to secure transfer of funds to the CIO before setting out clear plans and direction.Funds have recently been secured so we now have a clear understanding of what we can deliver and what we can realistically achieve and are currently working through clearer policies and procedures and detailed business plan to ensure a sustainable organisation. Work in progress.

Objects: The Objects Of The CIO Are For The Benefit Of The Public Generally And In Particular The Residents Of Kirklees And Its Surrounding Areas:(a) The Prevention And Relief Of Poverty, And The Relief Of Those In Need By Reason Of Youth, Age, Ill-Health, Disability, Financial Hardship Or Other Social Disadvantage(b) The Advancement Of Education, In Particular By The Provision Of Learning And Training Opportunities Relating To Homelessness, Housing And Related Matters And By Promoting Research Into Such Matters And Publishing The Useful Results Of Such Research(c) The Advancement Of Good Health And The Preservation And Protection Of Health For The Public Benefit(d) To Promote For The Benefit Of The Inhabitants Of Kirklees And The Surrounding Area The Provision Of Facilities For Recreation Or Other Leisure Time Occupation Of Individuals Who Have Need Of Such Facilities By Reason Of Their Youth, Age, Infirmity Or Disablement, Financial Hardship Or Social And Economic Circumstances Or For The Public At Large In The Interests Of Social Welfare And With The Object Of Improving The Condition Of Life Of The Said Inhabitants.
