To provide funds to run a regular bus service for outlying villages to be able to get to town to do their shopping and other activities. Also to maintain a reasonable cost to the villagers
Objects: The Object[s] Of The CIO [Is][are]to Provide Transport Facilities Between The Towns Of Penrith And Kendal, Including The Villages Of Eamont Bridge, Clifton, Hackthorpe, Sharp, Orton, Tebay And Grayrigg For Persons Who Have Special Need Of Such Facilities Because They Are Elderly, Poor Or Disabled, People With Young Children Or Those Living In Isolated Areas Where There Are No Adequate Public Transport Facilitiesnothing In This Constitution Shall Authorise An Application Of The Property Of The CIO For The Purposes Which Are Not Charitable In Accordance With [Section 7 Of The Charities And Trustee Investment (Scotland) Act 2005] And [Section 2 Of The Charities Act (Northern Ireland) 2008]
