Activities
Berwick & District Friends of Dementia supports persons in the district of Berwick-upon-Tweed who are diagnosed with mild to moderate dementia, and their families and carers. It does this by means of social opportunities and appropriate activities. Its main undertaking is Alz Cafe, held each Thursday in a rented premises in Berwick for social activity, and refreshments are provided.
Objects: The Objects Of The CIO Are To Relieve Persons In The District Of Berwick Upon Tweed And Surrounding Area Who Have Been Diagnosed With Dementia And Their Families And Carers By The Provision Of Social Opportunities, Leisure Activities And Support To People Suffering From The Effects Of Dementia And The Effects Of Caring For Those Living With Dementia.
