"The Old School House" is used in the furtherance of the objectives of the CIO to benefit the public, to advance the Christian faith, to contribute to the spiritual and moral education of children and to promote community cohesion through open meetings, talks, discussion groups and courses. Community support continues via low cost rentals to local volunteer-run organisation.

Objects: A) To Advance The Christian Faith; Andb) To Contribute To The Spiritual And Moral Education Of Children; Andc) To Further Or Benefit The Residents Of Swanwick And The Neighbourhood, By Associating Together With The Said Residents, Voluntary And Other Organisations In A Common Effort To Advance Education And To Provide Facilities In The Interests Of Social Welfare For Recreation And Leisure Time Occupation With The Objective Of Improving The Conditions Of Life For The Residents Provided That Any Such Use Does Not Conflict With Any Other Object Of The Charity.
