Summary of the main achievements of the charity during the year
The Cornwall AONB Trust was first registered with the Charity Commission in April 2017.
Cornwall AONB Trustees took the decision to ‘mothball’ the Trust during this financial year due to the Coronavirus Pandemic.
Previously, the Trustees met monthly to review the work of the Trust and to ensure it remains focussed in its aims and objectives. The Trust will continue to support a variety of community activities for the benefit of the public.
The Trust is committed to supporting a wide range of initiatives through the Environment Landscape Fund by offering grants of up to £500 which help to facilitate projects from tree planting to marine litter collections.
The Trust has also been successful in establishing a Business Supporters Scheme encouraging local businesses to provide their support to a range of environmental projects whilst also meeting their Corporate Social Responsibility.
