The weekly Tuesday session continues, aimed from year 7 upwards.
‘Super Saturday’ continues once a month, on a Saturday morning along
with WarHammer/board not bored games, on a Saturday afternoon, all
aimed at different age groups.
The Wednesday club started after successfully gaining an £11,000 grant
from The Community Lottery, to run it for 2 years. A success from the
start, with average attendance 25-30 weekly. Aimed as starting at year 6
as a gateway.

The Somerset Conker Championships were held, with a formal engraved
cup dedicated to a revered conker legend.
Postcards were printed and sold in the town to raise awareness of the
flag project. A local photographer and the Langport Business Group
kindly supported the project.
Residentials at Huish Woods and Kilve, aimed at the mid teens age
group, were well attended.
UK Youth Grant awarded for a residential to the New Forest.
‘What makes you Happy’ grant awarded from Spark to survey children
and young people, well received by thosewho took part.

‘Help my friend has asked me’ pilotscheme participated in October 2024.
Advice FirstAid Training attended by 8 volunteers/youth workers, in
November 2024.
BBC Radio interviews with Pudsey Bear, 2 youth workers took part
(raised the profile of the youth group).
Pantomime attended with smaller group members.
A Christmas Raffle raised around £1000.
Activities such as cooking, craft, flag painting, and sports (including roller
skating) took place at the regular sessions.
Free dental care kits given out.
Christmas annual meal provided for children, with the meat kindly
donated by a local business, and extra that could be used for the Warm
Spaces days.
Transitional period for Year 6 tojoin gradually from Easter, to support the
transition from primary to secondary school.
Feedback from theyoung people is paramount, and sessions are
provided to support this. Youngerattendees want more trips, including
residentials.
Older attendees want budgeting and financial advice
(sessions have been with Citizens Advice).
A partnership with InKind Direct, countrywide hygienefocus group aiming
atfemale hygiene poverty.
Evolve Music project which took place with neurodiverse young people,
wellattended.

I report to the trustees on my examination of the accounts of the above charity (“the Trust”) for the year ended 31/03/2025

Responsibilities and As the charity trustees of the Trust, you are responsible for the preparation basis of report of the accounts in accordance with the requirements of the Charities Act 2011 (“the Act”).
